Vera is a small town yet a local bank capital and is only 8 kms inland.
The main square, Plaza Mayor, has several buildings of interest due to their architecture and historical significant of the past. The town is modern but still retains its charm of the past which is best depicted on market day and within the local bars and restaurants.
There is a large market every Saturday held in the town centre. The Beach at Vera Playa is a long stretch of coast with quite secluded beaches and coves some of which are well sign posted as council-designated naturist beaches. The official naturist beach zone runs the length of the naturist beach, which include public streets and seaside promenades (don’t worry they are clearly sign posted).
